Apm (Asset Performance Management) Engineer

You will be working as a APM (Asset Performance Management) Engineer - and will be part of Process Automation business area for Energy Industries division based in Turkiye, Italy and abroad. For this role work place will be in Istanbul /Türkiye. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the development, implementation and successful onboarding of digital APM solutions and the adoption of the APM platform and solutions into the customer business environment along with their subsequent operations and maintenance. The Candidate will be included in the Team of Digital Local Unit and will speak with internal ABB personnel from Sales department, Proposal department, Engineering department, Project Management department and the Customers.

Your responsibilities

• Demonstrating reasonable proficiency in APM software in their own area of competence, 
• Expertise development in APM topics, 
• Interiorize knowledge in ABB tools and their applicability, 
• Capability to implement APM solutions and projects using above tools and complying with economical and safety constraints,
• Working alongside the sales team to identify the customer’s needs and to accordingly demonstrate and articulate the features of the digital solution and its ability to meet the needs. 

Your background

• A degree in engineering (automation, mechanical),
• Sound experience in physics, thermodynamics, chemistry and automation & control,
• Basic Knowledge of APM themes (IOT, Condition Monitoring, Vibration systems, Performance Monitoring, Predictive Diagnostics, Fault Analysis, etc.),
• Basic Knowledge of AI, ML, basics of cloud environment and services (MS Azure and AWS), 
• Basic Knowledge about networking, protocols, database and more in general the themes of data transferring and archiving,
• Knowledge about industrial processes like power generation, water, and oil & refining,
• To have knowledge about the working principle and maintenance of industrial assets such as motor, pumps, turbines, compressors, furnaces, boilers, etc.

Nice to have:

• Basic Knowledge about Control Systems and SCADA,
• Knowledge of Vibration measurement and analysis, 
• Ability to use Linux, Phython, C# ,
• Real Working Experiences in one or more APM Digital themes, 
• Fluent in English, 
• Italian language would be plus, (There will be Italian Language training in the package), 
• Proactive at solving problems and result oriented, 
• Ability to analyze the risk, technical and economical during project development, 
• Attitude in communication and teamworking.
