QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an "HR Services Specialist (Temporary Contract – Project Based 30.06.2025)" who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in ABB HR Services – Front Office in Maltepe-İstanbul, Türkiye location.


Your responsibilities

  • Supports the end to end process of payroll, time and attendance, HR administration and benefits administration, 
  • Responsible for technical aspects of monthly payroll for existing payroll system (SAP HCM), 
  • Communication of clear information on policies and standards to internal clients, 
  • Executes and delivers assigned HR services in accordance with all standard operating procedures/policies or other procedures in place and in accordance with defined service level agreements, 
  • Provides HR service support to the HR community, to managers and to employees,
  • Demonstrates a customer service mindset and a pro-active way of working to provide service to customers with a 'can do' attitude, 
  • Has a role in the global Workday implementation project, identifying opportunities for improvement and taking ownership of process improvement projects, supporting the smooth implementation of new business projects and transitions by providing data or participation in testing phases,
  • Prepare information and documents for external authorities (social security, income tax, etc.), 
  • Provide on-demand process reports as required. 


Your background 

  • University degree in a related field, 
  • Up to 3 years of experience in HR services in a global company, especially in time management and/or payroll, 
  • Knowledge of Turkish labour, income and social security law desirable, 
  • Knowledge of SAPHR, MS Office (good knowledge of Excel a must, 
  • Knowledge of Workday would be an advantage, 
  • Excellent English (verbal and written),
  • A project management mindset and the ability to manage multiple demands on your time and work in cross-functional teams, 
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally, 
  • Turkish knowledge is a must.
