Sales Engineer

Silvan Sanayi A.Ş. founded in 1957, is one of the top performing and experienced casting factory in Turkey, specialized in production of alloyed steel castings. More than 90% of production is exported and company sales is being operated globally.

We are looking for a top performer, energetic, analytical engineer with a solid technical background including professional sales approach and project management. Responsibilities

• Supporting sales activities with RFQ preparation, Account Management and maintaining effective data feed into ERP system for sales related information.
• Analyzing incoming RFQ details and arranging internal coordination when necessary.
• Active co-contact role for account management together with Sales Executives and Sales Manager. Position will report to Sales Manager.
• Overall understanding of global sales network which will improve in time and taking active role for the success of sales team.
• Preparation of sales reports and analysis.
• Last but not least, above responsibilities may change in time for sales department requirements.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with related disciplines (Mechanical, Metallurgy and Materials, Mechatronics Eng. Etc)
• Having worked with OEM and Tier 1 companies
• Excellent command of English. Other languages will be an asset for this position.
• Having experience of ERP systems as a user level
• OEM and Tier1 business experience as sales or project team member
• Positively persistent in finishing the task when confronted difficult situations
• Strong communication skills and being a solid team member
• Analytical mindset with solution oriented approach
