• Engineering degree preferred. 
• Min 5 year experience with significant direct experience in managing procurement, supply and spend management. Demonstrated success in the development and execution of Commodity management strategies and driving year over year cost-out. 
• Ability to understand the business needs, technical and functional requirements at plant and regional level knowledge of cost drivers – Understanding of market conditions
• Understands technical specifications, product performance requirements, supply chain processes, and end user expectations 
• Possesses intimate knowledge of Industry trends and risks, incl. regulatory environment 
• Professional functional experiences in following areas: needs / specifications gathering, bidding, negotiation, supplier recommendation & selection, transition planning, program deployment, supplier management incl supplier relationship and supplier performance management. Area of focus also includes business continuity planning & risk mitigation. 
• Ability to develop and negotiate effective commercial contracts on behalf of Eaton. 
• Understands international Trade Management implication, incl tax, duty and customs tariff implications 
• Must be able to effectively communicate to a diverse group of stakeholders including senior management, operations and supply chain management. 
• Results oriented. Must demonstrate a bias for action and implementation
• Fluency in English and German

İŞ TANIMI

• Responsible to manage the development and the deployment of direct material commodities for hydraulics components purchased by Eaton Hydraulics Group in EMEA region, in alignment with the Global Commodity Management team to ensure an uninterrupted and timely supply of direct materials & services that meet the organization’s cost goals (cost out, economics) and performance goals (on-time delivery OTD, quality DPPM, payment terms DPO). 
• Accountably manage the commodities in the sourcing, supplier selection and relationship building with key suppliers to leverage Eaton’s purchases, reduce cost and improve supplier performance with the support of global and regional procurement organizations.
• Monitor market evolution; perform market intelligence research including global sourcing opportunities and currency fluctuations as well as future trends both technical and environmental.
• Negotiates and manages region-wide contracts with Suppliers, conduct reverse auctions where appropriate. 
• Drive regional supply consolidation. Build and maintain supplier relationship; introduce supplier collaboration where appropriate. 
• Assist Eaton plants in negotiating difficult situations, winning concessions without damaging relationships. Settles differences with a minimum of conflict, while being forceful, diplomatic and gaining trust 
• Build and maintain positive strong relationships and performance management structure with strategic supply base. Develop key suppliers to achieve financial and performance targets. Monitor supplier capacity and address gaps proactively and efficiently. 
• Organize and lead Quarterly Business Review with the key Suppliers. 
• Develop an Action plan by key supplier and follow up action items, drive continuous improvement and translate into a Pipeline of cost out projects. 
• Actively participate to the EMEA Procurement Council for Hydraulics by providing inputs in the development, improvement, implementation and enforcement of Procurement initiatives. Identify and report non-compliance and opportunities for improvement, working with Operations to drive consensus and alignment.
